The AMP® Plasma 450x Cutter is a lightweight unit that features powerful inverter technology for smooth cutting. Handles almost any project you can throw at it, from mild steel to copper, brass, stainless and aluminum up to 3/8in. Cuts faster and more precise with a thinner kerf and less slag than cutting with oxy fuel. A smaller heat-affected zone also causes less warping. No gas pressure settings, flame tuning, metal preheating, or gas cylinders or refills to worry about, ever.

Whether you’re working on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, galvanized steel, copper or brass, if the material can conduct electricity with little effort, the Plasma 375 can cut it. Make clean cuts in up to 3/8 in. steel, or sever cuts in up to 1/2 in. steel.

Clean Cuts with Minimal Warping

Plasma cutting efficiently reduces heat retention in the metal. Less heat means less heat-affected area, resulting in less warping and less material damage or post-cutting cleanup.

Trigger Only Once

The built-in pilot arc feature really comes in handy when cutting items such as chain-link fences or expanded metal. No need to retrigger each time you hit an open gap of air; the pilot arc keeps the arc on, allowing you to quickly and accurately move to the next target section. The result is faster cuts PLUS less wear and tear on your electrodes and nozzles.
